Remove radiator cap for visual inspection.
EC - Power Steering Fluid
Locate dipstick.
Check for adequate levels
EC - Belts
No more than 3/4 inch play at center of belts, no cracks or frays:
Power steering belt.
Water pump belt.
Alternator belt.
Air compressor belt.
NOTE: if not belt driven = tell which are not and make sure they are operating properly with no damage, leaking, and securely mounted.
EC - Safe Start
Gearshift should be in park.

CC - Hydraulic Brake Check
Pump break three times and hold for five seconds. Brake pedal should not move.
CC - Service Brake Check
Pull forward at 5 mph, apply the service break to see if the vehicle pulls to either side.

SB - securely mounted and not leaking. Look for any missing nuts, bolts, and cotter keys

SL - connecting links, arms and rods from steering box to the wheel are not worn or cracked. Check joints and sockets are not worn or loose and no missing nuts, bolts, or cotter keys.

SAT - look for missing, shifted, cracked, or broken leaf springs.
Look for broken or distorted coil springs.
Check torsion bars, torque arms, or other suspension components.
Air ride should be checked for damage or leaks

Mounts - ID cracked or broken spring hangers, missing or damaged bushings, and broken loose, or missing bolts, u-bolts, or other axle mounting parts. (check at each point where they are secured to the vehicle frame and axle)

SA - secure and no leaks

Brake linings should not be worn dangerously thin.

BL - Check visible amount showing.

Tires - Tread depth: 4/32 on steering, 2/32 on others
Tire condition: tread is evenly worn, no cuts or damage on sidewalls. Valve caps and stems are not missing, broken or damaged.
Tire Inflation: proper inflation using a tire gauge or strike with mallet.

HOS/AS - not leaking

LN - present, free of cracks and distortions, ans show no signs of looseness such as rust trails or shiny threads. bolt holes not cracked or distored.

S/BS - if equipped, not bent damages or rusted through. Evenly centered with dual wheels and tires evenly separated.
