Occurs if the apical heart rate is faster than the radial pule rate
some of the heart's contractions are ineffective in producing cardiac output that reaches peripheral extremities
What aclosure re the 2 normal heart sounds?

What is the S3 heart sound?
ventricular gallop
immediately after S2
common in CHF and mitral regurgitation
What is the S4 heart sound?
