Backlog

A backlog is a prioritized list of features with descriptions if functionality that is often used in agile practice.

Retrospective

Agile practices like scrum have popularized a meeting called a retrospective, which is time that is specifically set aside for the team to reflect on its performance and practices, identify and solve problems, and look for specific proposed improvements for how the team can work together more efficiently in the future. Retrospectives emphasize the importance of setting aside this time for a team's continued improvement to help ensure project success. The efficiencies teams develop by continuously improving far outweighs the time set aside to do it.

Product Review

A regularly held meeting to assess and review the progress of a product.

Project Charter

This document initiates the project and authorizes the project manager. It documents the business need for the project as well as assumptions and constraints the project must live under. A project Charter generally includes high level scope and quality information. It is issued by the project sponsor and represents the organizational authorization for the project.

Minimum Viable Product (MVP)

An MVP is a simplified product released to a limited audience to test the audience's reaction and gain feedback. This feedback may be used to continuously modify and iterate the product before releasing it to the broader market.

Release Plan

Release Plans are staged plans to release MVPs through final products in timed phases.
