What is a Business Process?
a network of activities, resources, facilities, and information that interact to achieve some business function.
- It's a system and sometimes business processes are also referred to as business system.
What is the importance of inventory management processes?
Inventory management process works to balance the demands from customers with inventory purchases from the supplier.
What is Inventory management system?
supports the process by collecting information. It keeps track of what customers have ordered. (QuantityOrdered) and what is currently in inventory (QuantityOnHand)
What is a 'Reorder point' with Inventory management systems?
is the critical point when a good in stock hits this point, the system lets the manager of the restaurant know that it is time to order new supplies.
