Blank Cabin Temperatures

Happens on the ground due to LAV/Galley vent fan not operating. No crew action required.

Eicas GND PROX SYS

Greater than 250 kts selecting flap ovrd of gear over. No action required

Restoration of electrical system after stby/RAT power.

CAC's may not restore (loss of pressurization). TAT data may be lost. AP will have limited function.

Manual ANTI ICE operation due to TAT logic

In Climb manually select Anti ice on when TAT is less than 10C prior to entering icing conditions.

Or at temps below 15 if operating in visible moisture.

May be delayed to 1500-2500 ft after T/O

FMS and EEC thrust disagree

No dispatch to airports above 11,001 ft

LNAV guidance error in hold

Hold is programmed above 14,000 (1.5 min legs)

Then descends below (1 min legs)

Hold is resized and a software issue causes plane to turn outbound.

Ensure after descending through 14000 hold looks correct.

FMC reset if Procedure turn is 28th leg of FP

Can cause flight plan to become inactive and loss of performance data.

Don't load a PT on the 28th leg.

Do not repeatedly hit execute.

Nuisance Tail Strike message

If the message appears during flight other than after take off then consider it a nuisance message

Avoidance of abrubt flight control input after unrealistic drop in airspeed

Airpseed drops below 50kts

Do not apply large or abrupt control column inputs

FMC reset when exiting a holding pattern

-Leg after hold is within 3° of inbound hold leg

-Pilot executes EXIT HOLD

-the pilot selects but does not execute DIRECT TO the hold fix.

-The airplane sequences the hold while in the modified state.

Loss of flight plan and performance data

MCP uncommanded altitude change

If altitude changes the AUTOPILOT msg shows.

Verify last cleared altitude and reset altitude selector and verify correct pitch mode

VNAV PATH not available on final approach

Occurs when MAP point is sequenced from being on vectors within 21nm of MAP.

-after reloading approach only VNAV speed was available.

Must "re cruise" FMS.

Set an altitude greater than highest constraint on the flight plan.

Additional guidance on ICI

At high thrust ratings (climbing to get over areas of ICI)

ICA is suspended and ice can break off into engine and cause rollback.

Automatic LNAV activation during departure

LNAV can activate on departure if an instrument approach is loaded and the toga switch is pressed

Don't load an approach on the ground

GLIDESLOPE alert on final approach

IAN approach

Incorrect altimeter

Warner than standard OAT

if VMC land and cancel aural warning

Engine Fire switch fails locked or unlocked

If the engine fire switch fails to locked set the hydraulic ENG PRIMARY switch for the affected side to Off.

Additional guidance for flap and slat anomalies and overweight landings.

For FLAPS or SLATS PRIMARY FAIL. They are operating in secondary mode (Flaps take 2.5 mins 1-20)

If flaps extended while accomplishing overweight landing checklist the Barber Pole and amber band can meet. Can be in the amber band for as long as 1 minute.

AIR COND RESET above 35000

Descend to 35000 or lower and attempt max of one reset per flight
