(Dp-1 only glass building blocks were covered for this type of loss)- the explosion peril no longer has exclusions listed in basic form |

Damage by burglars |
Broad Form dwelling now includes burglary damage as a separate peril. Whereas DP-1 covered this under vandalism or malicious mischief, coverage is now provided to damage any covered property (not just building) if caused by burglary. no coverage for property theft or dwelling vacant for more than 60 consecutive days leading up to loss |

Falling Objects |
Loss or damage resulting from falling Objects is covered, except damage to awnings, fences, outdoor equipment, outdoor radio and tv antennas or aerials, masts or towers. Damagee to building interior is coverable only if roof or outside wall was damaged first. No coverage for falling object itself |

Weight of ice snow or sleet |
Loss or damage to the building or contents caused by the weight of snow ice or sleet is covered. There is no coverage for damage to piers wharves docks, awnings, fences, swimming pools, foundations, retaining walls, pavement or patios |

Accidental discharge or overflow of water or steam |
Damage caused by the accidental discharge or leakage if water or steam from a plumbing, heating, air conditioning, or automatic sprinkler system is covered. The cost to tear out and replace a part of the building is also covered if necessary to repair or replace the appliance. Tear out coverage applies to other structures only if there is actual damage to the other structure
However the policy will not pay for loss or damage caused by continuous or repeated seepage over a period of w,m, y's. Also no pay for the cost to repair or replace appliance itself nor will it consider a sump pump, roof drain, gutter or downspout as an appliance that triggers coverage. Damage caused by discharge from an off premises storm drain, steam or sewer pipe is not covered. If the dwelling has been vacant for more than 60 consecutive days immediately before the loss, this peril will be excluded from coverage. |

Sudden and accidental tearing apart, cracking, burning or bulging |
The sudden and accidental tearing apart, cracking, burning or bulging of appliances from a steam or hot water heating system, an air conditioning system an automatic fire protection sprinkler system or an appliance for heating water, is covered. Loss caused by freezing is not covered but is covered in the freezing peril noted below b |

Freezing |
The feeling of plumbing heating air conditioning or automatic sprinkler systems is covered only if the insured has taken reasonable steps to maintain heat in the building or has shut off the water and drained the pipes and appliances. Items not considered appliances are not covered for freezing. |
