Accelerated move

Moves which pick up speed when approaching target or moves taught to lower rank who has proven ability to handle greater knowledge.

Angle of desired positioning

Best way to position body or extremities in anticipation of next move

Angle of disturbance

Disrupts opponent's angle of brace. Good angles of brace synonymous with good posture

Angle of efficiency

Same as angle of desired positioning - best action is gained from direction

Associated moves

Moves which are similar therefore produce similar results

Bridge

Move which closes gap between you and opponent

Committed action

Attack that crosses line of no return. One must finish or be hit.

Compensate

ability to change move or sequence allowing for margin of error

Counter balance

Centering of weight or energy to maintain desirable center of gravity

Deceptive rhythm

Irregular timing designed to disrupt opponent's defense. Aka broken rhythm or deceptive timing
