How is pollution caused on land?

Landfill and from toxic chemicals such as pesticides and herbicides. These can also be washed from land into water.

Bioaccumulation

Where toxins enter the food chain. Initially, the amount ingested is small; but as it travels up the food chain for toxins build up in the organisms. It can lead to dangerous levels of toxins accumulating in the top predator.
