Parietal peritoneum

Largest serous membrane in the human body, contain peritoneal folds.

Greater Omentum

Largest peritoneal fold, 4 layers, emerges fron transverse colon and drapes over small intestine like a apron. Seal and heals minor injuries and infections of the small intestine.

Lesser Omentum

Double layered peritoneum that suspends stomach and duodenum from the liver.

Falciform ligament

Attached liver to the anterior abdominal wall and diaphragm. Liver is only abdominal organ attached to anterior abdominal wall.

Mesentery

Double layered visceral peritoneum. Mesentery suspends loops of intestine together. Also, attaches and suspends loops of intestine to the posterior abdominal wall

Mesocolon

Binds transverse colon (large intestine) to the posterior abdominal wall.
