.Emergency Power Assist System Reservoir Pressure Gauge needle must be in the green zone

.The moveable liner on the hinge arm must align with the fixed liner on the hinge arm when the door is fully closed, latched and locked

.The door slide/raft Gas Bottle Pressure Gauge needle must be in the green zone

SOPs for Normal Door Opening

.The Fasten Seat Belt sign is switched off

.Purser's PA "Clear to open doors"

.Ground Personnel will knock on the window, Cabin Crew to acknowledge the knock by signalling with a thumbs up through the door window

.Both Operator and Checker must be present:

Operator verbally states: Door disarmed

Checker verbally states: Door disarmed, clear to open door

Checker places hand over plastic guard (palm facing the crew member)

.Lift the girt bar flap cover

.Pull the speed lacing release handle

.Cut the mooring line

Pull the Red Manual Inflation Handle located on the RHS of the girt bar

LR3: Pull down the Red Manual Inflation Handle located in the upper aft portion of the door frame
