Aircraft |

Baggage sorting area |
Area located inside a terminal or building where checked baggage having been accepted by an air carrier is directed for the purpose of transport by such carrier. |

Area not covered under federal regulations with respect to which access and surveillance are determined by Airport Patrol. |

Equipment Staging Area |
Area outside the aircraft safety area which is used for the temporary staging of aircraft refuelling and maintenance vehicles and equipment. |

Ground Control |
The control tower operational position to which a controller is assigned to provide as follows: a) authorization and instructions pertaining to airport traffic b) all information, up on receipt, as is relevant to traffic within the airport perimeter |

Intersection |
Means the location where a roadway, runway or taxiway crosses another roadway, runway or taxiway. |

Key |
Means any instrument used by the APO for the purpose of providing access to a public or private restricted area. |

Loading area |
Any portion of the apron designated as such by a sign or surface markings, which is accessible to the travelling public for the purpose of emplaning or deplaning, including areas for charter aircraft. |

Manoeuvering area |
Portion of airport normally used for the takeoff and landing of aircraft as well as aircraft movements in relation thereto, but excluding the apron. |

Movement area |
Parts of aerodrome used for takeoffs, landings and ground movements of aircrafts, including the manoeuvering area and the apron. |

Type of AVOP which authorizes the holder thereof to operate a vehicle on the apron for the company identified on the permit and within the vehicle corridors bounded by traffic signs along the terminal building |

Exterior roadway boarded by parallel white lines painted on the apron surface and designed to guide vehicle operators. |
