What did Democritus discover about atoms

Stated that all matter can be divided into smaller and smaller particles until a single, individuals particle is reached. He named this particle atomos which means indivisible

Stated that all matter is made up of tiny indivible particles called atoms, and all atoms of a given element are identical. Atoms of differenr elements are different. During chemical reaction, no atoms are created or destroyed.

Atom contain negatively charged particles called electrons and the rest of the atom is positively charged to keep it neutral
