There are many different types of colour e.g primary, secondary, tertiary , hot+cold, pastels and much more. Colour can change the mood or even the distances something is perceived at

A shape is an inclosed area, two maintypes of shape are geometric and organic.
Geometric shape is a basic shape like a triangle or square. A organic shape is a natural shape with curves

Form can make 2d works(paintings, drawings) look 3d. This can be suggested through shading, tone and the direction of line( i.e curved lines)
What is line?
Line is a mark that can be used for tone, to draw shapes or to draw pattern.
Some types of line are:
Straight, hard, soft, jaggy, broken line, outline, curved, think and thin
What is pattern?
Pattern is a continues design
Repeated lines create stripes, or dots to create polka dots. The two patterns are regular(same size, colour) and irregular( different size, colour)
