Shape
A 2D area having identifiable boundaries, created by lines, colors, or value changes, or some combo of these
Mass
A 3D form, often implying bulk, density, and weight
Form
The physical appearance of a work of art - its materials, style and composition.

Naturalism
The skillful representation of the visual image, forms, and proportions as seen in nature with an illusion of volume and 3D space
Distortion
A departure from an accepted perception of a form or object. Distortion often manipulates established proportional standards.
Stylized
Descriptive of representational art in which methods for depicting forms have become standardized, and can thus be repeated without further observation of the real-world model.
Idealism
An artisticc theory in which the world is not reproduced as it is but as it should be. All flaws, accidents, and incongruities of the visual world are corrected.
Abstraction
