*Keep pt as still as possible *Take a swab to examinate with venom detection kit
*Bandage the bite site firmly (should extend above the bite site for 15 cm) *Splint the limb to immobilize it *Transport to a medical facility for definitive tx |

*Remove bandage *Observe for s & s of envenomation *Give antivenom if signs of envenomation present |
