I: Teres Major Tuberosity


A: Draws forelimb caudaly; Together with Teres Major, flexes shoulder.

O: Between C3-TH9 region


- Pars cervicalis: From rap he of neck


- Pars thoracica: From supraspinous ligament

- Cervical: Proximal 3/4 of scapular spine (dist: Omotransversarius)


- Thoracic: Proximal third of scapular spine


A: Surports trunk, elevates forelimb, draws it cranialy.

O:


- Pars capitis: Nuchal crest of occipital bone


- Pars cervicalis: From raphe of neck to spinous processes of Th 1-3 vertebra


- Pars Thoracis: From processus spinosus of 4-7 vertebrae


I: Dorso medial part of scapula


A: Elevates limb and pulls base of scapula against trunk forwards or backwards (depending on which part that will contract more)

M. Pectoralis Profundus

O: All sternebrae of sternum and costal cartilages of true ribs.


I: Main part on minor Tubercle of humerus (small aponeurosis joints to major tubercle)


A: Supports trunk, behaving as a strong retractor (draws limb caudally) and adductor of forelimb

M. Pectoralis Superficialis

O:


- M.pectoralis decendens: Manubrium sterni


- M.pectoralis transversus: 1-3rd Sternebrae


I: Crest of Greater Tubercle of Humerus


(Crista tuberculi majoris), upper part of crista humeri.


A: Ventral connection to forelimb, adduction, draws limb cranially or caudally depending on position.

O:


Cervical part: From proc. transversus. of C2-7


Thoracic part: From Middle part of the ribs 1-8


I: Fascies serrata on scapula (Medially)


A: Supports trunk, helps at inspiration, carries shoulder cranial or caudal depends on position of forelimb.
