Functions of a FIP |
A FIP controls the indicators for the various fire detection/suppression systems within a building. The illuminated display will show when and where the system has detected an alarm, fault or that a control function has been activated. Sometimes attached to a EWIS (emergency warning and intercom system). Also -isolate “plant” -indicate “pumps running” -isolate external public warning bell |
