'still very foggy and extremely cold'

AO1: Shows Scrooge is a cold hearted and mean man. He is still surrounded by his misery and has not changed yet.


AO2: Low temperature. pathetic fallacy gives sense of darkness as it is is associated with fear/misery. 'still' suggests he is still cold and mean as it was not enough to brighten him.


AO3: Dickens shows that this is what the rich are like and once they share they will become warm and happy.
