Regarding hearing aids, what is common in the hospital?
What do hearing aids amplifiy? |
commonly lost. Pt needs the hearing aid. Hearing aids are not always covered by insurance.
Aids amplifiy all sound, sometimes pt does not want to wear them. |

When ppl are under a lot of stress, they produce more?

ear wax- have drops to dissolve -we dont clean out ears. Assess for this in pt.

on a continuum, most will have some sight. Pt becomes unable to interpret non-verbal cues and only rely on spoken words.
