- Period from puberty to middle life - Young people strive to gain psychic & physical independence from their parents, find a mate, raise a family & make place in the world - Outside focus, gaining power, to control our lives, the environment we lived in - Youth we must realize that life is suffering - Conssrvative Principle - desire to live in the past (natural tendency to cling to the narrow consciousness of childhood) |
