Explain Femoral sheath

In femoral triangle, femoral artery and vein with associated lymphatic vessels are surely funnel shaped sleeve of fascia

Continuation of femoral sheath

Superiorly - transversalis fascia and iliac fascia



Inferiorly - connective tissue associated with vessels

Weakest point of femoral sheath

Most Medial compartment (femoral canal) contains the lymphatic vessels and is conical in shape ,opening of this canal superiorly is potentially weak point lower abdomen and is site for femoral hernia
