In the news article “Northern B.C. town deprived of internet for at least a month” by CBC news
is describing the situation of a small town called Stewart, in British Columbia, which will not have
internet connection for a few weeks, due to the fact that the only internet provider in that town has
shut down, and the new provider is unable to get things running until a few weeks. In which the reality
for the town would be that they would have no access to internet, which would put a halt to things such
as online banking, online courses, libraries, and many more. That is why I agree that in the twenty first

Without the internet we would not be able to communicate with our friends and family who live far away. Skype, Facebook, Twitter, Facetime and other social media sites make it possible to communicate with friends and family who live at a distance, but without internet, or an internet connection we would not be able to do any of these activities. Websites, which businesses or companies use to portray their message or provide their services would not be able to communicate their services without internet.
