Now that we are living in an ever changing world, technology is viewed as the most resourceful tool in keeping up with the pace. Without the use of technology, communication would be limited to using mail for delivery and encyclopedias for research. Although technology has improved the way we communicate and find information for research, the information is not always valid. Unfortunately, for those of us who use the internet for shopping, research, or reading articles of personal interest the information is not treated the same as a your magazine or book. Also keep in mind that good webpage covers information that others may not. Whether individuals are using information on the internet for pleasure reading, research, or entertainment through the viewing of videos that may also be found on the internet, the must web page must meet the criterion specified earlier in this paper. For example, daily news on current events can be misleading as indicated in the following article.
Fake news has become a popular form of satire. Read about News satire at wikipedia. Here are three popular examples: The Onion ,The Daily Show from Comedy Central and Colbert Report from Comedy Central. A few websites are addressing the issue of misleading information. Use these websites to help your students identify fact and fiction. Keep in mind that even these websites should only be one of many sources of information ( Johnson & Lamb, 2007).

The business related articles focus was on persuading the reader to buy into their products, while in contrast the education article focus was on delivering useful information for improving leadership skills.
