English pronunciation is a major problem among some ESL learners. Majority of the cases the degree and type of difficulty depends on the learner’s native language. Despite the differences between countries, there are certain common mistakes among ESL students all over the world.
According to (Pesce, 2017) there are seven common pronounciation mistakes among the ESL learners.Pronouncing the letter “th”,it is the most tough comsonant to produce. According to (Anon., 2012) it is adviced not to overdo word and sentence stress.Speaking naturally healps learners to comprehend in a faster manner.In order to do this When you pronounce words with two or more syllables, one syllable will be stressed more than the others. Until its is practiced a bit there is chance of having trouble hearing stress because it is such a natural part of a native speaker's speech. Sentences will have similar stress patterns that needed to learnt, and respelling can helpul in that. Some words are not so important to hear and are reduced in time, loudness and tone. Some are more important, louder and longer and have a higher tone.
