Morality is often defined as how an individual thinks about what is right and what is wrong and also think weather if what they are about to do is considered good or bad behaviour. Morality is also often drawn from temptation of the individual and also greed for example if an individual were to find a bag of money on the floor, would that individual take it or bring it to the police. The therapist must be able to know what order must be made so that actions could be taken. According to Meara, Schmidt, and Day (1996), there are six moral principles that a therapist must know or take note when making ethical decision and that is the Autonomy where the therapist must be able to respect their client and also respect how the client thinks and the belief the client has because of the different cultures and also because the client has a freedom to make their own choice. The therapist must also know how to be nonmaleficience so that no harm or evil will be made to others or the client. The therapist way must also minimise the choice for the client to the most beneficence ones so that the client will have more benefits. The therapist must also give the client justice and fairness and not treat them different because of the culture or the beliefs. Also, the therapist must have fidelity and veracity in them as that is what helps build the relationship between them and the client.
