The MBTI which is short for the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator is an assessment in which is designed to help one understand their preferences in four different categories which are 1) Where you focus your attention 2) The way in which you take in information 3) The way you make decisions and 4) How you deal with the outer world. Based upon these classifications there are two different types in which you can fall under for each category ultimate resulting in in your personality type. This combination of the four preferences you had shown when taking this test is you reported type. For example my personally results revealed that I am an ISTJ which stands for Introversion, sensing, thinking and judging. An introversion is someone who tends to focus …show more content…
It also outlines ways in which I would deal with college, choosing a major and my preferred studying habits. When applied and looked at upon my career in college these represents a very accurate outline of how I do things in school. First it suggest the ISTJ tend to like to be accurate and fit very well in business majors. From that alone depicts my major in business with a concentration in marketing and my almost anal attention to all details in my school work. For example when I am designing project reports and presentation I have to analyze each section of my presentation to ensure it is done perfectly the way I want it whether it comes down to the font size, colors etc. Every single detail is carefully planned out and addressed individual to ensure the final result is the highest end product I could possibly deliver. Why you may ask? It’s not about the grade, it’s about doing the best I could possibly do in every aspect of everything I do so that I am successful at the end of the day and have no regrets when I get my project back and to be proud of my work and what I have accomplished. You need to make this time of your life a part to enjoy and be proud of so when you look back years from now you can say that your college experience not only taught you a great deal but also was one of the most exciting times of your life and, although school and work are important they aren’t everything and its necessary to go out and try new things so you can grow as an individual as you step outside of you comfort
