United Kingdom Tourism Report The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, as known as the United Kingdom (U.K.), is consisted of England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales. It is a European country that is located on the north-western coast of the continent Europe. The country has a rich culture and history that began in the Middle Ages while Roman was ruling in Britain. The Roman divided the land into kingdoms; thus, by the end of the 13th century, England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland were considered as the four major power.
