Appointments are done on the basis of their performance and experience and not on the bases of looks, gender, age or caste. The advantage of this approach is that this prevents discrimination. It provides same opportunities to all. This approach helps in removing barriers to achieve inequality and positive result. This approach helps everybody to demonstrate their capabilities and treated fairly. This approach is supported by legislations like Sexual Discrimination Act 1975, Equal Pay Act 1970, Equality Act 2006/2010 etc. The main limitation of this approach is that though it does not focus on equality but not everybody is capable to doing all work.
