Again there is a global forecast WHO, it is estimated that there will be 13 million shortage of health personnel by the turn of 2035, the report raises awareness of the problem and advises that something urgent needs to be done to prevent the consequences that may arise as a result of this reduction in manpower globally. CAUSES OF THE SHORTAGE OF HEALTH WORKFORCE
The likely cause of shortage of health experts various from different country to country, varies also from profession to profession; though for industrialized nation, some of the causes highlighted include but are not limited to the following, high on the list is an ageing health workforce population with staff retiring, healthcare workers leaving for better paid jobs, the reduction of young ones to come in for medical training in the profession or being adequately trained. The increasing pressure for quality healthcare by the growing aging population, rising wave of pathologic lesions like infectious diseases, malignant lesion, debilitating illness, and more recently migration of foreign health workers is also creating and uneven balance globally.
