result in the same syndrome with similar treatment" (NCCIH, 2013).

defines CAM as "a group of diverse medical and health care interventions, practices,
products, or disciplines that are not generally considered part of conventional medicine"
(NCCIH, 2015). The boundaries between CAM and conventional medicine are constantly
changing, and certain CAM may become accepted within conventional medical practice
(NCCAM, 2010). Some CAM practices may fit into one or more category. The natural
product of CAM include a "variety of herbal medicines, vitamins, minerals, and other
