6 Reasons why the Dallas Cowboys will repeat as NFC EAST champions

1. ONE MONSTROUS OFFENSIVE LINE

How could this not be the first thing on this list. The Cowboys offensive line. Is scary, its young, its big and it is chalked full of talent. They were the best in the league in 2014 and somehow they still managed to improve this off season. Dallas scored big time with the addition of La 'el Collins. The Cowboys managed to sign him a week after he went un-drafted in the NFL draft. The Cowboys saw a raw talent and took a chance and it is already paying off. Look as though the Cowboys will be repeating 2014 with their threats at offensive line. While half the NFL is still talking about our running back situation the Cowboys organization isn

The Cowboys drafted combine stud and former Connecticut defensive back Byron Jones in the first round. He will accompany veteran cornerbacks Orlando Scandrick and Brandon Carr, along with the young Tyler Patmon. Not to mention the elephant in the room Morris Claiborne. COO Stephen Jones was recently quoted saying that he believes "Morris Claiborne has shot at a big year". Let 's all hope that he is right. he does have a lot to prove after coming off a knee injury that ended his already tumultuous 2014 season. I am excited what this group is possibly going to bring to the table, hopefully its an abundance of turnovers.

5. AN EASY SCHEDULE ON THE BOOKS

The entire NFC east conjointly will be able to delight in an easy 2015 regular season schedule. The Cowboys have it the easiest at 24th overall, the Eagles are right behind them at 23rd and the Redskins and Giants tie for 20th. The NFC east as a whole will face the AFC east and NFC south. Out of those 8 teams only 2 finished with a winning record. That should sit very well for the East as a whole but especially the Dallas Cowboys. I believe that the Cowboys would prevail with any schedule but it does give them a little more cushion. That is something us fans will embrace with open arms.

Examining Dak Prescott and the Cowboys current state at backup There’s nothing to hide behind the curtain of the Cowboys’ roster when delving into the strengths and areas of concern. If not ravaged with injuries like it was last season, an offensive unit that’s armored with a plethora of talent and a run-first philosophy to clout opposing defenses with a punishing ground game could get head coach Jason Garrett’s squad back to contention. Knock on wood, there hasn’t been any major injuries this summer on the offensive side of the ball, thus far, and although it’s too early to imprint rookie quarterback Dak Prescott as Tony Romo’s heir or as the solution at backup if Romo misses time again due to injury – the young and athletic slinger exhibited some eye-catching goods in the Cowboys’ first preseason game against the Rams last Saturday.…

2017 is an intriguing year for the Redskins for a multitude of reasons. Kirk Cousins now is in the midst of a long-term contract negotiation, his top two wide receivers left via free agency, the Redskins defense is coming off a historically bad season, the new defensive coordinator Greg Manusky along with the team’s new additions is having positive reviews so far this off-season, and the front office is fresh out of a messy divorce with their former general manager Scot McCloughan and made an in-house replacement with Doug Williams under a different title. All this to say, what happens in 2017 is of paramount importance, and can shape the near future of the organization. There are a few Redskins who are worth noting that will be a key cog in determining the outcome of not only the season, but how their future in the nation’s capital.…

If they can draft well they can set themselves up for years to come. The majority of the first round picks that the Browns have drafted that are no longer on the team had or serious problems leading up to the draft. For example Johnny Manziel was known to be a excessive partier and alcoholic and they took a chance on him anyway. Brandon Weeden was 28 years old when he was drafted(McManamon, “Browns cut QBs”), to put that into perspective the average age of a NFL draftee is 23.1 years(Stuart). You could go on and on about the problems these guys have had, but what the Browns need to do is simply draft smarter.…

He has a 33-15 win loss record over the past three seasons. Jason Garrett has a bright future as one of the greatest offensive minds in the game, and he will most likely be a better head coach. His extreme ability to abandon the running game is really what makes him a good play-caller. I am aware that most of the people who watch football predicted the Cowboys to win the Super Bowl each of the last three years, but they have only won one playoff game in the past seasons. However, this year will be different.…

Cowboys Flashback: Dallas Cowboys and New England Patriots Connections The history of these two teams playing each other is short, as they prepare to play for the twelfth ever and the first time since 2011. The Dallas Cowboys lead the series 7-4 winning the first seven from 1971-1996 and losing the last four meetings in 1999, 2003, 2007 and 2011. Despite the limited history, the Cowboys and Patriots have many player and coaching connections: 1.Drew Bledsoe- Bledsoe put his name on the map by leading the New England Patriots from 1993-2001. After a successful career with the Patriots, he was traded to the Buffalo Bills, but was release after two seasons and signed with the Dallas Cowboys and was there from 2005-2006. This right now is the best team in the NFL and the best to wager on. We have one more week until Ben Rothlisberger comes back from suspension. I prefer the team now without him because the Pittsburgh defense is motivated and playing better knowing that the offense is missing their franchise quarterback. My biggest concern here is when Ben Rothlisberger returns in a few weeks and reclaims the starting quarterback job, will the Steelers defense continue to dominate?…
