The knowledge of business students becomes more important with offers of internship opportunities within curriculum to provide business students with actual work experience in particular business license/certification areas. It is one thing to have knowledge and quite another to have both knowledge and experience in particular skill sets desired by corporations. Students could receive credit hours and could receive compensation from the employing organization (David, Dr. Fred R. and David, Forest R. 2010).
The importance of the study of time management has been recognized in many schools, due to a need to simultaneously meet the needs of both students and the business community. Matching the teaching of time management within courses with the specific skill areas needed in business would help to reduce disparity between academic focus and corporate needs. Having a good plan, with reinforcement and punishment being used to regulate goal progress and time management is an important part of this.
