Introduction
One typical day, I have the privilege to see how people come to this place spending time just for a comfort or for a few words of encouragement, these individuals came to this place called Botanica Santa Barbara just to see a lady. This lady is called Barbara because people call her as the name of the place, but her real name is Nydia Chanza. So, different people came to this place men and women from the ages of 17 to 60 years of ages old, and it is rare to see people over of the 60 years old. This people came to this places for personal circumstances. For example, personal life, love, healthy problems, criminal problems, financial life or any other straggle. But in many cases people just came to get an advice or to get comfort or merely to get somebody who can heard they personal problems.
However, I chose Botanica Santa Barbara because is amazing how one person can do too much for other one given just words of encouragement and changing their perspective of life and helping the youth people to get their goals.

I had arrived early at 2:25pm to start at Spanish Meadows Nursing Home. It was on Thursday during class that there was a bag and tissue only in pink and blue with two things. I bought four more gift bags and tissue paper from Dollar General. Jim swore our family could live cheaper and he’d never shovel snow again when we sold everything in rural Colorado to move aboard our sailboat in Mexico. When we sailed into Baja Sur’s capital city, La Paz, its unexpected “small town” peacefulness surrounded by the coastal beauty of the Sea of Cortez charmed us into staying. We landed a house-sitting gig by word-of-mouth and enrolled our 12-year-old daughter in a Mexican public school to learn Spanish. A two-day drive from the California border through saguaro and organ pipe cactus gardens, and only 1½ hours north of Cabo San Lucas, La Paz sits like a pearl where the Sonoran desert sand meets the glimmer of the Gulf of California.…

Not much goes on in this town and it is not quite what someone would call a vacation destination, but there is indeed something special about this town. The Spanish fruits that I taught my sister were strawberries, mangoes, lemons, apples, melons, oranges, papayas and pineapples. This was a fun experience because I was teaching my sister about these amazing fruits to talk to people if she goes to a Spanish speaking country. This experience was also very fun for my sister and me because it helps my sister understand these fruits much better than just writing and listening to these words. Another thing about this wonderful experience is that my sister knows the fruits in Spanish and can go to the grocery store and ask for these specific…
