Short bio
I was born in 1964 in Le Havre, France, and grown in New Caledonia, South Pacific. I discovered NLP in 1985 at Lille (France) during my studies, I did my first training, and I was certified as Practitioner in 1985 (specific French diploma). Later, as I became “NLP addict”, I (covertly) used NLP in my Ph.D. in Psychology (Université de Lille III, France, 1993-1998), studying how the content of propositional (digital) and analogue representations frame the structure of human reasoning and deciding. I developed a model for modeling reasoning and decision processes based on Sternberg’s Cognitive Styles, which are close to meta-programs, and some pure NLP meta-programs.

After 10 years in the research and R&D worlds (1988-1998), I went back to New Caledonia. In 1998, I created a company, IOD (www.iod.nc), focusing on the one hand, in consulting and assessing people, and on the other, in training people. At the beginning, for assessment, I developed a unique approach based on my Ph.D., using my “meta strategies” concept. Since 2007, as I was trained in LAB profile, I use a mix of my “meta-strategy” and meta-programs. For training, I developed programs for managers, based on NLP core skills, and, again, on my Ph.D. results for the decision-making process in management.
