A 60- Watt light bulb produces 40.0g of emissions while a MacBook Air produces only 6g which shows the enormous difference between both products and proves ‘Apple’s’ efforts on lessening their harm on the environment and being responsible for the global warming. The latest goal of the corporation is to succeed in powering every Apple facility completely with renewable energy which means energy generated from renewable sources which are solar, wind, hydro and geothermal. They are planning on accomplishing this by constructing energy-efficient buildings, which is being done at the moment. As well as the other two companies I have written about in my essay, ‘Apple’ demonstrates tremendous results in their aim of minimizing their impact on the environment, which we all should be grateful about (Apple.com, 2013).
