Watkins, Meiers and Visser (2012) refered SWOT was a simple in gathering materials but the information processing and assessing stage was the real challenge. Because, the draw conclusion and evaluation the accuracy of the materials collected depends on the capacity of implementers. A right SWOT requests the particient must have a strong knowledge and experience in the industry. If the team makes research with no uniformity in the expertise, it is difficult to comply with the SWOT. Limp of staff’s competence is also inhibited making SWOT that was recognised by Horn-Haacke (2002) as a factor affecting the success of these analysis. Because of the quality of research SWOT greatly affected from the participant’s capacity, it gives rise to conflict in the point of view from individual in a team. One factor is considered important to this members; but through the eyes of others becomes meaningless. That is understandable because the SWOT factors are evaluated subjectively (Ghazinoory, Abdi, and Azadegan-Mehr, 2011). No one can ensure that the arrangement of internal and external of the enterprise in the 4 SWOT groups is correct. All actions are based on dividing one's emotional and they seems to have a private arguments, which are difficult to homogenize. Therefore, this is the method of determining the factors outside the enterprise and helping SWOT recognize the opportunities and challenges. Dekker (2003) supported that value chain analysis is done based on the classification of the business activities into major activities and supporting activities. That is the basis for identifying strengths and weaknesses of a company and including development of core strength itself. the assessment of the value chain to be considered in the internal factors of the business. Thus it complements and clarifies the SWOT analysis to the study of the strength and weaknesses of the business. Through it can be seen that; SWOT, five Porter’s competition forces and value chain research have relationship of mutual assistance in determining the competitiveness of the business and position in the market.
