Landon Carter was a troubled teen that was heading nowhere fast. Jamie Sullivan was the type of person who liked being herself and didn’t care what anyone else thinks. She didn’t fit in with other kids and was misunderstood. They both had nothing in common and the saw the world both differently. But what Landon didn’t know was that Jamie would change him for the better. Landon was falling for Jamie and it scared her. Because she was falling in love with Landon too. So they took a risk on love. What they did know was that their lives would change forever.

When Jamie sang “Shine On Me” in the church choir scene I caught chills up my spine. Or the scene when Landon and Jamie were acting the schools play. While Jamie was singing her solo in the play Landon was looking at her as if they were the only two in the room. Another scene would be when some of Landon’s friends decided to play a joke on Jamie. Landon didn’t find the joke funny, got angry and upset about the whole situation. He got into a fight with one his friends because he came to Jamie recuse. I felt at that moment that Landon really cared for Jamie. Another good scene in the movie was when Jamie ran out the crying because a couple of kids played a prank. The movie was about two small town teens who have each other their whole that find love in each other. They went to the same schools and the same church their whole lives. The first scene setting was played at night at an old factory were Landon and his friends played a trick on one of the kids at their high school. Another scene would be when Landon and Jamie dance under the moon on her balcony. Or when Jamie was in the hospital even though it was hard and sad Landon never left her side.
In my opinion, A Walk to Remember is an overall great movie to watch. Its full of drama and suspense throughout the movie. I have seen this movie several times and every time I watch feels like its my first time watching it again. It never fails that this movie leaves me in tears. The love between the two teenagers felt so real. The acting skills between Shane West and Mandy Moore were so powerful in this movie.
