I am going to talk about language and power. Don’t expect others to know the language that you speak or you want them to speak. Language is related to power in writing. Language affect power on how we use the language. Language has great role on power. Using the small word or not appropriate word can send strong message to person. Which can cause problem.
Single Word can led you through big problem. Single word can hurt your relation with person or hurt their feeling. Think before saying a word. It won’t hurt you to think. If you think it’s appropriate and you delivery on people then you will regret your mistake anytime or later but one day for sure. The way message delivered can have a strong impact on receiver.

The word “Bitch” is a bad word.
Bitch is not appropriate. There are lots of other words which is appropriate to use instead of bitch. So, people should not use it on someone to curse, because it’s a kind of word that if you use it on someone it seems like you’re insulting that person. And people don’t have right to insult someone. If the word is directed toward men then they will strongly go against it. Then why women shouldn’t go against it. The word bitch shouldn’t be listened by women. They should strongly go against if the word is spoken to them because they don’t want to listen to that word. Which is not appropriate for them. This relates to power because how word is used in daily life how people are used to the word. Language impact, on power by how the language is used.
Lopez talk about feeling of insecurity and judgement from other by saying “Not speaking fluently has made me ineligible for opportunities that call for someone who is bilingual. It has made it difficult to communicate with fluent speak-ers. . . . I never really fit in well with the Latina crowd because of my language issue” Non-Spanish-Fluent Latinas:

This quote talk about language and power. Due to racism and judgment about people change the world. Due to racism during few years ago it was told that if you were speaking Spanish in public then you were told to leave the area in some cases. How you going to use your power on person who speak different language. It’s just a language not everyone is perfect. So not everyone know the language that you expect to hear. You can ask them to learn it and help them learn it instead of telling them to leave the area. Situation doesn’t matter. You have to think before taking your step.
Speaking English have power not the one who is not able to speak Spanish. Speaking English have freedom maybe right and power too.
The overall conclude is how language impact the power. As I have talked about language and power on the paper that one word can become a reason for fight. Always think before saying the word.
