During the summer of 2014, my family and I enjoyed a vacation in one of the most beautiful place I have ever visited. My uncle had won a trip to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico for the whole family and we were ecstatic to say the least. I remember looking at pictures of the unbelievable mansion we would be staying in called Casa China Blanca, but no picture captured how amazing it truly was. Although, the entire city was not as luxurious as our gated community, I still believe Puerto Vallarta is one of the most enjoyable places I have ever been to. Upon arrival, my family and I piled into the chaotic airport filled with hundreds of people.…

It was basically the plot of National Lampoon’s European Vacation, where the family encounters one challenge after another as they travel through England, France, and Germany, except it was my family. Although there were various obstacles throughout the trip, I learned a lot about life: culture, history, food, and most importantly, perspective and the simple necessities. Despite the overuse of the saying ‘life-changing experience,’ it definitely taught me that the best vacation is with family. After spending three weeks out of a suitcase, rotating through…

If I could take a vacation anywhere it would probably be to the Bahamas, i've never been to far out of Indiana but going somewhere warm sounds amazing. I'd love to wake up to the sound and smell of the ocean, take a shower then go on a walk on the beach before breakfast. I would want to go out to eat at a new place every day just to get use to the type of food they eat everyday. I would stay up late and get up early for the first few days and spend long days at the beach, eating ice cream and just enjoying myself. Depending on how long we stayed I might sleep in a couple of days and go play basketball with some of the locals.…
