Danny And Peachy Character Analysis

The film revolves around two main characters, Danny and Peachy, that were both ex soldiers in India at the time of the British rule. The country, according to them is too small to house them; so they end up traveling to Kafiristan where they would then become kings in their rights. Rudyard Kipling, the author of the entire film, is regarded as a character that was present at the very beginning up to and until the end of the whole movie. The film tells the story of the above mentioned charming and likable characters that possess no fear when it comes to writing a history in the world. Danny and Peachy are untroubled by existential concerns, and they are courageous as well as principled. The two characters are also preoccupied with their affairs, and they are resolute adventurous who fail to go by any manly established authority and have little to no …show more content…
Peachy can be described as a skillful schemer who is intelligent as well as practical in nature; Danny, on the other hand, is seen as spiritually magnetic with the ability to give off strength and insight both to him and to Peachy. For example, when they were in a battle and Danny got struck by an arrow and didn’t die then the vulnerable villagers viewed him as a god and worshipped him. So, in order to take over the country, they both ended up deciding that pretending to be a God, the son of Alexander the Great who has returned back again to rule Kafiristan. This tested their loyalty, Peachy supported Danny’s unethical way to become king of the Kafiristan. There duo displays a whole, and if they were to be alienated, each is weakened. Danny and Peachy have a firm belief in themselves, which seem to make them their will on other individuals.
