Career choices with a path to success For a high school student that is as active as I am, I need a job that fits the criteria. I recently took a personality test that told me my personality and what jobs would most likely suit me. I found four jobs that fit my personality pretty well. The four jobs are an entrepreneur, an engineer, and a marketing rep. All four jobs sound like something I could see myself doing in my future. The first job that I found that matched my personality was an entrepreneur. An entrepreneur is somebody who organizes and operates a business and is usually the person who started the business or partners with the person who started it. Finding a college or a career can be the most difficult things to do sometimes. Then want to find a job that benefits others or the benefits America and most people do not know that entrepreneurship plays a vital role in the growth of the U.S. economy. My final career choice is to become an entrepreneur. An entrepreneur is a person who starts a business and operates or manages it. I want to become an entrepreneur because it seems like the most interesting career choice for me. Also I can open up any business I want and be my own boss. To become an entrepreneur I do not need a degree. There are entrepreneurs and very successful entrepreneurs that don’t have any type of degree. Although it is not necessary to obtain a degree I am going to attend the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville and get a bachelor’s degree. I plan to major in business management while minoring in entrepreneurship at the university’s Walton School of Business. It will cost me around $12,000 per semester complete my education. Also I plan to attend events at the school like athletic events because I am a huge razorback fan, and always have been. During college I am going to spend time talking to entrepreneurs around North West Arkansas and ask them about the process of becoming an entrepreneur and some of the challenges that they faces to try to find as much information about it as I can. I think this could possibly help me by providing additional information that could benefit me in the future. I additionally plan to work during the summer and when I can during the semester to help pay for college. Between scholarships, work, and parents/grandparents I am going to try to have low student loans after I graduate because I know many people can have student loans many years after they
