Nature Vs. Nurture Debate

Do you ever wonder why you do what you do? The nature vs. nurture debate is an exciting discussion about whether genetics or parenting have the most influence on your personality. Nature is genetics it influences how we act and makes us special to the world. Nurture is behavior that we learn when we go places or just sitting at home, and it can influence to make good decisions.Nature and nurture both play roles our lives and how we act, but nurture has more power than nature because it shows how children will act in public and what they could say in public.

Take my family for example my grandma likes to cook and so does Josie. Michaela and I like to shop but Josie and I like to hunt because it was the way we were raised. My sister Michaela is more like my mom's side of the family. My sister Josie is more like my dad’s side of the family. I’m more like both sides of the family that's all genetics. Another example would be my best friend's family. I think she acts like a little of both of them, but her sister acts more like her dad then her mom. My other best friend acts more like her dad then her mom and so does her two little brothers. Her little sister and her older brother however acts more like her mom then her dad.

In the end I still believe that nurture is more powerful than nature because at the end of the day it is how people see you act and how people remember you as. This debate is and always will be about is nature or is nurture more powerful. Nature is what we inherited from our parents like eye color, hair color, and personality. Nurture is our actions that we present in public or at home that comes from when you pick something up from people or your parents.
