Sosoka, I started to notice that she did not like questions from anyone. Once my friend, Garret, also tried to ask her a question during note taking. He went up to her desk with a worksheet that was due the next day. Mrs. Sosoka looked up at him giving a nasty look and proceeded to roll her eyes and sigh at him. The whole class was watching as he tried to ask her a question. It took him a couple of seconds to start his question due to her eyes staring at him in rage. Once he was done she answered the question, without really giving a straight forward answer. It basically was not even an answer to his question. As he tried to ask her for clarification she told him to go sit down and wait to ask the question because it was not the ‘right time’. The whole class was in shock because she humiliated him in front of the whole class. Her actions stopped my classmates and I from wanting to ask any more questions. Mrs. Sosoka’s actions killed the curiosity of my classmates and I by making us scared to ask or even think of a question, which made the class boring and unbearable. By Mrs. Sosoka crushing our curiosity, she also crushed our creativity in the class. The projects that were supposed to be fun and exciting became boring, busy work that no one wanted to do. We had a project where we had to make a pamphlet for a city in Ohio. It was supposed to be a fun project where we could be creative and inventive, however, we were penalized for too
