SWITCHING from bad habits to good habits:
Never under estimate the power of repetition, especially of negative actions, that you keep repeating on a daily basis.
What appears insignificant or seems inconsequential at present, has the potential to change you big time in future if it is repeated daily without any break. Once you realize the artery clogging effect of those big burgers or the fattening effect of that crunchy ice cream, taken on a daily basis, you will avoid such things like anything.

Change your bad habits through MINOR MODIFICATIONS:
Once you make the habit of consciously making healthy choices, a time will come when it will no longer feel difficult to pursue a healthy lifestyle.
Changing your negative habits by making small tweaks in them can radically change the course of your life for good. These minor modifications do not require massive change in your personality, lifestyle or goals.
However, once you incorporate such positive, minor modifications in your life, then such positive fine-tuning will displace the bad habits you have by changing your life in an unbelievably good way.
Are you clear about your life’s PURPOSE?
In addition, majority of people don’t know exactly what they want. If you were to be asked: “what do you want to do for the rest of your life?” plus you have to answer this question in 3 seconds, no more time is allowed for answering this question; then, do you have the answer for this

When you finally know your calling, you will work for it whether the work is paid or UN-paid, whether the hours are long or short, whether the work is boring or exciting, easy or difficult.
For your life to MEAN something, you have to live a meaningful life:
The only thing that matters is that your work means everything to you, what others think of your work will have no impact on your inner drive to get better n better at your life’s purpose (aka your calling).
That is why knowing your mission, your purpose, your calling is so essential because once you are clear about life’s mission, you will view every action, every thought from the lenses of your life’s mission.
After passing through the lenses of your life’s mission, you will pursue only those actions, you will reflect only on those thoughts that further your mission instead of hampering it. Just imagine what will happen if Albert Einstein, the man behind E = mc 2, The Theory of Relativity, tried to pursue music in hopes of becoming Elvis Presley? What will happen if Elvis Presley, the King of Music, tries to pursue theoretical physics in hopes of becoming Albert
