A well-drawn movie has consistent styles, is detailed and realistic, includes nothing unnecessary and leaves no empty spaces. The Hunchback of Notre Dame exemplifies all of these descriptions. The art of the backgrounds and the characters were consistent throughout the entire movie, following a similar color scheme of green, purple and red. The art was well detailed, such that you can see the texture of each material allowing the viewers to imagine what the objects may feel like. It was easy to imagine how imperfect the roads were, how rugged the building bricks were, how rough the wood of a table was, and how silky Esmerelda’s dress was. The backdrops of each scene was detailed enough to display the condition of the area, yet there is no excessive clutter that would overpower the subject of the
