The Effect of Charity on People Essay
In part I do agree with this statement, as I do think that charities do not have the entire effect that Christians want, but I do not feel that it makes the poor people lazy and keeps them poor.
A charity would struggle to have the entire effect that Christians would want. The ultimate aim of a charity of course would be to eliminate poverty throughout the world, and this has certainly not been achieved. Our worlds are very different, even though they should not be. All men and women were made equal by God, and we should not forget that. Love thy neighbour, and a poor person is your neighbour also, they not different from you or me, they are the same and should be given an equal chance in this life to anyone else.
It sickens me to think that there are poor people in the world, that other ridicule because they are unfortunate enough to have had to beg for food to keep alive. We should be helping those people, not calling them lazy. Yes charities are trying to help, but it is the
