He does a fantastic job of describing exactly what he wishes to describe and with magnificent word choice and syntax. Throughout the novel I was personally captivated in the patients flashbacks, as to what he would remember and what he would reveal about his history. Especially his love life and affair with his friends wife which ended up being tragic and sad in many ways. All the way through the novel the author most specifically focuses and targets the readers emotions by allowing his characters to be vulnerable but yet stern in achieving their goals.
In conclusion the novel The English Patient is a one of a kind with many morals to take from it. It gives the reader different perspectives, views, understanding and thrill to read it many times. I would highly recommend the book to anyone willing to have chills, thrills and laughs as you
