Since poverty runs throughout the country most families are unable to have another child because they are unable to provide basic needs in order for the infant to survive. Although abortion has been illegalized women seek unsafe non professionals to perform the surgery and due to this many women are either dying or left with severe medical conditions and sometimes even disabled. The only acceptable reason for an abortion is when the mother’s life is in danger, in which permission is required for the abortion and must be obtained from a doctor or any medical professional.
