Were you ever one of the few children that were constantly teased about your body-image? Were you the girl that would stuff your bra with tissues or something that made your breast were fuller? Or maybe had thoughts of having a similar body as a model you would get far in life? Many of us have experienced being teased of our bodies in some form and many teens are experiencing the similar embarrassments. Quite a few teens are able to overcome these rude remarks and continue on with a successful life. Unfortunately, for other teens it’s the other way around. Some teens are unable to ignore the remarks and began making risky decisions to change their image. Even the male teens are looking into cosmetic surgery. They want to lose the excess breast fat so it would make a fascinating difference in their appearance and be more attractive. Many teens believe it’s a way to better their self-esteem and be accepted into popular social groups. Some plastic surgeons encourage the teen to go through with the surgery without letting the teen know about all the processions and risk that’s involved. These teenagers are also unaware that appear may be attractive to others of different societies. Whereas, a person that’s not think is considered beauty. In the Middle Eastern men with a large bump on their nose is considered to be strong (Melvin A. Shiffman). Many teens don’t realize the risk they are taking when having cosmetic surgery. They are just thinking of the change they are making now and not the future. In the article “Teens’ cosmetic dreams don’t always come true” Kacey Long, from series of the show True Life “I Want a Famous Face”, speaks on her health problems after her cosmetic surgery. Long decided to get breast implants at the age of nineteen to improve her self-esteem. Within a year of her surgery she began to experience physical problems. Long was unable to move her arms due to the implants. She now suffers from systemic silicon poisoning, rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia,
