Industrial revolutions have allowed for the emerging of technology and innovation. The ability to achieve improvements in the automation, economy, government, employment, and more were the results of the multiple industrial revolutions. For example, the fourth industrial revolution created a system where both digitization and technology intertwine to accommodate emerging businesses, capital labour, efficiency in companies, industries, and to create a better everyday life. However, technology and innovation have been exponentially and globally spreading. Globally, it created a connection between digital and physical systems of manufacturing within industries in a flexible way, which resulted in the customization of products and services to accommodate customers needs. The revolution has brought out physical, digital, and biological systems together in a way where upcoming technology will be completely changed in the way people interpret the relationship of life and what is around them. To establish a positive impact globally, there must be an economic shift that will allow everyone in the world to obtain their needs through means of fairness. By the use artificial intelligence, 3D printing, and advanced robotics, the ability to benefit the economic shift will help sustain the natural resources available. As technology emerges to become superior in the labour force, everyone must face the fact that technology will change the way they view labour across all occupations, which will unfortunately result in millions of job losses. The amount of excessive technology around the world has enable us humans to rethink entirely new ways of purchasing goods and services. Now that we are in an era where technology is increasing drastically, businesses must take into consideration of their customers expectations, products enhancement and collaboration. Business platform such as Uber and AirBnB, have completely redefined the way we perceive purchasing services. Tom Goodwin, a media strategist commented on these platform: “Uber, the world’s largest taxi company, owns no vehicles. And AirBnB, the world’s largest accommodation provider, owns no real estate.” It amazes me how these digital platforms have restructured the way of conducting business without means of purchasing necessaries to establish their platform. It gives people a sense of control and superiority when getting into digital platform like Uber and AirBnB. By the use of digital platform it can be more flexible and less time consuming, however, it is concerning in terms of job revenue. I find that it will be difficult for one to live appropriately if they stick to using digital platform as a main source of income. If one does use digital platforms as their main source of income, I believe they may need to accumulate multiple jobs in that platform to establish basic living
